3D printers, dental equipment, milling machines, software and computers make up the new Digital Dental Lab at John von Neumann University. With the equipment and technology, Neumann and Semmelweis University in Budapest will jointly launch a Digital Dental Technologist course in September 2022. Practical training will take place at the university. This will primarily involve learning how to use 3D technologies, scanning, printing, design and the relevant software. The inauguration ceremony included a demonstration of the equipment in operation, which will allow students to learn the latest digital dental procedures. The popularity of the training and its expected future success is demonstrated by the fact that the university admission was more than five times oversubscribed. For the 20 places available, 107 students applied in the first place.
