Organised by the University of Zsolna, Hungary, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Poland were represented in a picturesque setting near the village of Zuberec. Many university lecturers, researchers and PhD students had the opportunity to present their latest achievements in their fields. From our department, Miklós Berczeli presented on adhesive bonding, Ferenc Tajti on interfacial energy, Zsolt Könyves on laser surface treatment, Péter Kovács on battery welding and Gábor Béres on plastic forming. In addition to showcasing the disciplines, the conference will also focus on strengthening international relations. The 38th annual conference will come to Hungary from 24-26 May 2023.
