The pride of our university, the Megalux solar-powered racecar, arrived in Sharjah and was presented to the people of the university city and the Emirati media. The streets were closed off by the police to allow the Megalux to roll unhindered over the 10 km distance. The car, which has achieved outstanding results in a number of international competitions, is now being showcased by the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park (SRTIP) as part of their agreement with the university. The arrival of the solar-powered wonder vehicle in the Emirates was also reported by Gulf Today.
